When something is not working as expected, start with the steps below. Each issue includes symptoms to confirm you are seeing the right problem, followed by actions you can take to resolve it.
Symptoms: The login page shows “Invalid credentials,” the password field clears, or you see an infinite loading spinner after submitting.Resolution:
  1. Confirm you are using the correct email address. Try logging in with a different browser or incognito window to rule out extension conflicts.
  2. Click Forgot password? and request a reset link. Wait up to five minutes and check your spam folder.
  3. If you use SSO, verify with your identity provider admin that your account is active and assigned to the Mintlify Starter Kit app.
  4. Clear your browser cache and cookies for the site, then retry.
Symptoms: Data from a connected app does not appear in Mintlify Starter Kit, or the integration status shows Disconnected or Error.Resolution:
  1. Go to Settings > Integrations and check the status badge next to the app. Click Reconnect if it shows an error.
  2. Re-authenticate with the third-party service and grant all requested permissions.
  3. Review the integration’s sync settings to confirm the correct projects or channels are selected.
  4. If the issue persists, remove the integration and add it again. Data will resync within a few minutes.
Symptoms: You are not receiving email or push alerts for mentions, assignments, or comments.Resolution:
  1. Open Settings > Profile > Notifications and confirm the relevant toggles are enabled for your preferred channels.
  2. Check your email spam or promotions folder for messages from Mintlify Starter Kit.
  3. For push notifications, verify that your browser or mobile OS has granted notification permissions to the app.
  4. Disable and re-enable the specific notification type, then trigger a test event to confirm delivery.
Symptoms: Pages take longer than five seconds to load, actions time out, or you see a generic error screen.Resolution:
  1. Test your internet connection and try a different network if possible.
  2. Disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy tools that may interfere with scripts or API calls.
  3. Clear your browser cache and reload the app.
  4. Check the status page for ongoing incidents. If the issue continues, contact support with your workspace ID and a timestamp of the slowdown.
Symptoms: A teammate reports they never received the workspace invitation email.Resolution:
  1. Ask the invitee to check spam, promotions, and any email filtering rules.
  2. From Settings > Team, verify the email address is correct and the invite status shows Pending.
  3. Cancel the pending invite and send a new one.
  4. If the address is correct and the inbox is clear, ask the invitee to sign up directly with that email and then request another invite after account creation.
