Connect a third-party app to your workspace so events, files, and updates flow directly into your projects. This guide walks through connecting Slack as an example. The same flow applies to GitHub, Google Drive, Zapier, and other supported apps.

Before you start

  • You must be a workspace admin to install integrations.
  • Have your Slack workspace URL ready.
  • Decide which channel should receive notifications.

Connect Slack

1

Open Integrations

In the left sidebar, click Settings, then choose Integrations.
2

Select Slack

Find Slack in the directory and click Connect.
3

Authorize the app

You are redirected to Slack. Sign in, choose your workspace, and click Allow.
4

Pick a channel

Return to the platform and select the default channel for notifications. You can override this per project later.
5

Test the connection

Click Send test message. A confirmation appears in the chosen Slack channel.
You can restrict what the integration sees by choosing a custom OAuth scope during authorization. Limiting to only public channels keeps private conversations hidden.

After connecting

Once Slack is linked, the integration appears on your Integrations page with a green status indicator. You can disconnect it at any time, or adjust notification preferences per project from the project settings panel.
