Collaboration in Mintlify Starter Kit happens where the work lives, not in separate chat threads. Comment on tasks, mention teammates to notify them, and share filtered views so everyone sees the same slice of a project. Changes appear in real time, and the activity feed gives you a running log of what happened and who did it.
When you open a task or document, your teammates see a live presence indicator showing who else is viewing or editing. Comments appear instantly, and status changes sync across all open sessions so no one works on stale information.
Use @mentions in comments to notify specific people. Type @ followed by a name to pull them into the conversation. Shared views let you save a filtered board or list and send a link to your team so everyone sees the same criteria. The activity feed, found in the right sidebar, shows recent comments, status changes, and member joins for the current project.
Mentioning someone in a private project they do not belong to will not notify them. Make sure the user has access before relying on mentions for urgent updates.
