# Invite and manage your team members

> Add teammates to your workspace, assign roles with scoped permissions, and remove members when access is no longer needed.

Team management lets you control who can access your workspace and what they can do. Invite colleagues, assign roles that match their responsibilities, and remove members when projects wrap up or roles change.

</Steps>

## Roles and permissions

Each role controls what a member can view, edit, or manage in your workspace.

| ------ | -------------- | -------------- | --------------- | ------------ | --------- |
| Owner  | Yes            | Yes            | Yes             | Yes          | Yes       |

| Viewer | No             | No             | No              | No           | Yes       |

<Note>
  Only Owners and Admins can change another member's role. Members cannot invite new users or modify workspace settings.
</Note>

## Remove a member

To revoke access, find the member in the **Team** list, open the actions menu, and select **Remove Member**. Their contributions remain in project history, but they lose all future access immediately.

<Note>
  Your plan includes a fixed number of seats. Removing a member frees a seat you can use for a new invite. If you are at your seat limit, you must upgrade or remove an existing member before adding someone new.
