# Manage your subscription and billing

> View available plans, upgrade your subscription, download past invoices, and cancel your account from the Billing page.

The Billing page is where you control your subscription, payment method, and billing history. Review your current plan, compare features, and make changes anytime without contacting support.

## Plan types

Mintlify Starter Kit offers three plans designed for individuals and teams at different stages.

## Billing topics

  Open **Settings > Billing** and click **Change Plan**. Select Pro or Business, confirm the seat count, and enter your payment details. The new plan takes effect immediately and you are charged a prorated amount for the current cycle.

<Accordion title="Download invoices">
  In the **Payment History** section, click the date of any past charge to open the invoice. Use the **Download PDF** button to save a copy for your records.

<Accordion title="Update payment method">
  Click **Payment Method** and then **Edit Card**. Enter your new card details and save. Future invoices will charge the updated card automatically.

<Accordion title="Cancel your subscription">
  Click **Cancel Subscription** and confirm. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your workspace downgrades to Free and restricted features become read-only.

<Accordion title="Seat changes and proration">
  Adding a seat mid-cycle charges a prorated fee immediately. Removing a seat applies a prorated credit to your next invoice. You can adjust seats from the **Team** page at any time.

<Tip>
  Annual billing saves two months compared to monthly. Switch to annual from the **Change Plan** flow.
